Our Company Name
The name Weastec is derived from three words, West, East and Technology.
Through our unique organization involving Far Eastern ownership and Western
associates, we are able to produce superior products using world class global
technology.
Company History
Weastec, Inc. was founded in April, 1988 as a subsidiary of Toyo Denso Co. Ltd.
Weastec is an OEM supplier of automotive products in North America as well as
to global markets. Our primary products are ignition systems, sensors and cabin
switches. The major processes that we perform are winding, potting, injection
molding and assembly. To insure quality and enhance product development, we
conduct in house testing on component and finished goods and also possess a
sophisticated design engineering department. Each finished part is 100% tested
at all locations. The design engineering is performed at our Hillsboro, OH
facility and Dublin, OH Sales and Engineering facility.
Weastec supplies parts to Honda, DiamlerChrysler,
Toyota, General Motors, Hyundai, Isuzu, CAMI and Kohler.
