Weastec has a large investment in equipment, buildings and inventory, but this
investment does not make our company successful - OUR ASSOCIATES DO.
Kaizen Program
Kaizen is a Japanese word meaning orderly, continuous improvement. It involves
everyone in the organization working together to make improvements. With this
system our people continuously improve Weastec's ability to meet customer
expectations of high quality, low cost, and on-time delivery - without large capital
investments.
Process Improvement
Process Improvement Program - A Weastec Process Improvement Program Team
identifies and solves problems in their work area. This allows the experts - the
people who work on the line and deal with the problems every day - to work on the
problems that are important to them.
Quality Circles
Quality Circles - A Weastec Quality Circle is a cross-functional team of associates
that identify and solve a specific problem. These Quality Circles compete with each
other for the opportunity to represent Weastec at the Honda Supplier Quality Circle
Competition.
